I'm a simple guy. If asked to describe myself in one sentence I would say: I am a Democratic-Socialist Buddhist New York Yankee Fan born in Miami, raised in Memphis, studying to be an archeologist and write in my spare time. Okay maybe not that simple, it makes me sound more like a nut then a friend but it describes me pretty well. To describe myself in more detail I would say: I am interested in politics; I believe that the government reflects the citizens and the only way to make it better is to get involved. I believe in the legalization of marijuana, right for homosexuals to get married, the right for a woman to have an abortion, and that the rich should be taxed more than the poor. I don't agree with democrats on everything and once the republicans stop forcing family values, pro-life and tax cuts for the rich onto everyone I’ll agree with them. You might think my views are wrong so feel free to tell me I am the first to admit I’m wrong, but not without a fight. I am a practicing Buddhist for four years; I practice in private and have yet to attend a temple. Some might not call me a Buddhist, that's why I say practicing, because I do practice it. I am a die hard New York Yankees fan, even though I’ve only been to New York once. I was born in Miami but raised in Memphis. I attend and work at the university of Memphis as an under graduate student working towards anthropology Major and a history minor. I am also an armature writer, have written 5 stories, and often write short stories in the mean time. I have been working on my current project for a year now, trying to get it just right. I don't read often but I do like to read Shakespeare, Dumas, Plato, Socrates, Homer, Kant, Hammet, Hogan and an occasional modern author now and again. I love old movies. I have a favorite move for every genera, decade, and subject. Clark gable, Humphrey Bogart, Robert Redford and Matt Damon are awesome. Well whoever read this far, bravo. but this is just a sampl
