I'm just your average gamer with a penchant for all things Japan--anime, manga, and culture (food especially but that's not restricted to Japanese cuisine). I've got a solid business sense as well and know what my priorities are in life so don't let me fool you just because I identify myself as a gamer first.

I am currently on suspension from college (purely academic reasons), however my head's in the right place and while I may not know exactly when I'm returning I do plan to finish my degree--working on an English with writing major--so I can hopefully start my dream of being an independent novelist.

A feminist was once defined as a lover of food, culture, the arts, music, and woman...I am some of those things more than others, and I try to also be sensitive to today's issues surrounding feminism. It's not that a strong, independent woman intimidates me, but--call me old fashioned--I'd prefer to take care of someone rather than be taken care of. Financially, if nothing else.

Well, if you're still reading after that first line about video games and Japan then you probably don't mind my weirdness. I'm a liberal and a freethinker too and call me crazy but I think that people shouldn't be judged simply because they don't follow social norms to a T. In fact the more 'unique' the person the more admirable they are for breaking free and trying new things, defining themselves as an individual. So, it's very kind for you to accept my "faults" or at the very least put up with them.

Kind, caring, passionate, straightforward, honest, and carefree are all traits I'm looking for in a partner. As for the relationship itself? It should be fun! Long-term, committed, mature (interpret how you wish, but let it be said a "mature relationship" does not necessarily mean "adult" in the same sense 50 Shades of Grey is considered "adult literature") and also fun.
