I came to college with high hopes of changing myself and becoming more sociable. Unfortunately, if anything the college environment has lead to me being even less sociable. I don't fit in very well at the Frat party scene because I don't enjoy intoxication (although champagne is really tasty), and I'm not quite nerdy enough to feel comfortable with the kids on the other end of the spectrum who Live-Action-Role-Play. Thus I am in limbo and have been unable to find either a girlfriend or even a best friend. Every night that I attend some social event, despite the fact that I'm surrounded by hundreds of people (and at least always 20 or so that I know on a name basis), I feel lonely and alienated from this sea of people.
From this site, I hope to meet cool new people and perhaps hone my interpersonal skills. Or in the best case scenario maybe even find a best friend or a girlfriend through here.
